A number of Manchester United youngsters have been included in the under-age international squads during this latest break.

Mason Greenwood, who has appeared in all of our first-team matches this term, has been handed a maiden call-up to the England Under-21 squad, where he adds to coach Aidy Boothroyd's attacking options.

The 17-year-old striker will hope to make his debut at that level with matches coming up in Turkey on Friday and at Hull City's KCOM Stadium, against Kosovo, on Monday 9 October.

In the same age group, Tahith Chong is in line to play for the Netherlands against Cyprus next Tuesday, and Ethan Galbraith has a double header for Northern Ireland against Malta, in Ballymena, on Friday and away to Finland on Tuesday.

Keepers Matej Kovar (Under-21s) and Ondrej Mastny (Under-20s) have received recognition from Czech Republic.

In-form Brandon Williams is celebrating a first England call-up as the attacking full-back is in the Under-20 squad, alongside Angel Gomes, for a game against the Netherlands, in Shrewsbury, on Thursday and Monday's trip to Switzerland.

At Under-19 level, Lukasz Bejger has away games with Poland against Armenia and Georgia, while Arnau Puigmal is looking forward to Spain's internationals with Germany and Japan. Dermot Mee is in Northern Ireland's plans for two home friendlies against Faroe Islands this week.

Welsh duo Oliver Denham and Iestyn Hughes have been placed on standby for Rob Edwards's side.

Teden Mengi has been performing in defence for United's Under-23s.

Centre-back Teden Mengi has three assignments with England Under-18s, with tournament fixtures against Australia (6 September), Brazil (8 September) and Korea Republic (10 September) on the horizon. In the same age group, Anthony Elanga (Sweden) and Charlie McCann (Republic of Ireland) are competing in a competition in Scandinavia.

Charlie Savage is in the Wales Under-17 party for two friendlies in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It is also worth noting that James Garner has been forced to withdraw from the England Under-19 squad due to injury and Dylan Levitt was initially in the Wales Under-21 group but has been promoted to the senior team by Ryan Giggs, following an injury to Juventus star Aaron Ramsey.
